Dunkin’s Response

I’m impressed. Dunkin Donuts responded to my email in a more timely manner than some of internship contacts I’ve been in touch with this summer.

DD responded to yesterday’s email with the following:

Dear Meredith,

Thank you for taking the time to contact Dunkin’ Donuts. We always appreciate hearing from our customers.

I’m sorry the Vanilla creme filled donut was unavailable at the shop you visited. Vanilla creme filled donut is not one of our required varieties. It is left to the discretion of the owners/franchisees of our shops whether or not to carry non required varieties. There are many factors that go into making those decisions, one being customer requests. We will forward your feedback to the appropriate people and we hope that you will try one of our other delicious choices.

Well yes of course, I always try one of the other delicious choices. Good to know that customer requests are a deciding factor in whether or not Vanilla Creme (apparently that’s the correct spelling…whoops) donuts are put on store shelves. It’s a classic case of supply and demand and I know I’m not the only one who misses Vanilla Cremes. So if you miss the donut as much as I do, ask about it the next time you pick up your daily coffee and maybe we can raise demand!

On a side note…got a new ‘do for the big apple the other day…

I’m really diggin’ the bangs. What do we think?
